Senior Agency Sales Manager


Position:

Description:

Whichit is looking for an eager, results-driven, entrepreneurial Senior Agency Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be required to pursue, negotiate and close deals with media agencies and brands across the UK and EMEA, as well as building a revenue pipeline and turning prospects into partners. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Gain an understanding of digital technology and revenue ecosystem and can explain product benefits within this context.
  • Build relationships and educate the market about the power of Whichit’s ICC – Interactive Commercial Content.
  • Independently build a large pipeline of leads to drive RFPs and IOs.
  • Develop and grow relationships with agencies and brands focusing on generating revenue and closing deals.
  • Utilize Pipedrive to manage contacts and opportunities.
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
  • Track, measure and report sales and BD activities and results to the senior management of the company.
  • Work closely with Head of Sales to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Tacking part of and lead the Sales and BD activities at events, conference and roadshow.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience introducing new marketing concepts to brands and agencies and educating the market about innovative solutions.
  • Highly entrepreneurial and can-do attitude, comfortable working in fast paced environments Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong experience in structuring and negotiating deals within the digital media space.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and identifying trends.
  • 5+ years of successful online ad sales (direct to brand and via large agency groups) - a must!
  • Exceptional contact book and network in the UK market. Additional markets are a nice to have.
  • Demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Expertise selling premium-brand focused content marketing solutions.

Account Manager


Position:

Description:

The successful candidate will join an award-winning startup and will be leading all account management activities across a diverse advertiser’s portfolio, including major media agencies and brands. This role requires exceptional client facing and relationship management skills, with a lot of room to be creative and proactive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Grow revenue by establishing and maintaining strong client relationships with assigned agency and clients, as well as identify upsell and cross sell opportunities.
  • Monitor campaign performance across clients to ensure the highest level of service, work with Ad Operations to set up campaigns correctly, proactively manage client expectations and suggest ways to improve the value delivered.
  • Lead all troubleshooting efforts working closely with Ad Operations to ensure issues are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Analyze performance and create campaign summaries that provide actionable insights.
  • Up-Sales to clients the company’s product and services.
  • Develop product and market expertise in order to best advice and consult with clients.
  • Support Sales in closing new business including developing campaign strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Utilize Pipedrive to manage contacts and opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • Must: Minimum 2 years’ experience within the digital industry in a client facing, commercial role.
  • Must: Proven history of growing accounts and revenue.
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and CRM systems.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Knowledge of marketing tools such as HubSpot, Zapier, Mailchimp or similar – a plus!
  • Native-level English, both spoken and written (essential). Additional languages – a plus!

the role

Whichit is now looking to launch their US (NYC) operations and is looking for a General Manager who will report directly to the CEO, be part of the global senior management team and be responsible for all aspects of the US launch.
This role involves defining the go-to-market strategy for the US market, and establishing and maintaining relationships with advertisers, agencies, publishers and partners in the US. The GM will be the sole face of the company in the most important market for Whichit and will lead and be responsible for all the operations for the US entity.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research, analyze and define the company’s target market and potential clients in the US.
  • Define and execute a client acquisition strategy for the US consistent with the company's goals.
  • Establish and scale strategic partnerships for the company.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including meeting retention and customer success goals and then establishing a local sales force.
  • Identify new opportunities and revenue streams based on the company’s products and services.
  • Partner with the Global team to define and support the execution of a relevant and targeted marketing strategy, aligned with market strategy and revenue objectives.
  • Build and manage the US team.
  • Lead and manage the operation of the US entity.
  • The role required traveling from time to time.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mandatory:
    • Fluent English, spoken and written.
    • A US citizen or an individual with a valid US working visa.
    • Strong knowledge of the Ad-Tech, Mar-Tech and Media Agencies eco-systems in the US and NYC specifically.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Ad-Tech / Mar-Tech spaces preferably in the brand and agency space.
    • Experience in building and managing a high-performance team.
    • Track record in delivering business growth, especially in new or emerging technologies that require market education and consultative sales.
  • A passion for hyper-growth early stage companies and a clear understanding of how to operate in such organizations and work with C-Level executives.
  • Experience working in start-ups directly with C-Level executives.
  • BA/BSe required, MBA from a top University preferred.
  • Experience establishing a company in a new country or market preferable.
  • Independent, a results-driven self-starter. Entrepreneurial experience - a plus.
  • Strategic thinker, resourceful, creative problem solver able to initiate change and foster innovation.
  • Strong time management abilities and project management skills.
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to present effectively across multiple levels in an organization including C-level audiences, product and technical teams as well as Sales and Customer Success teams.
